Stay Headed in the Right Direction, North Richland HillsPosted January 8, 2018 7:54 AM
Power steering is standard on nearly every vehicle in North Richland Hills, TX, these days. Now there are some exotic, new types of power steering systems, but for the most part, the general setup is a pump that's driven by a belt powered by the engine.
Contact the automotive professionals at Loefflers European Automobile in North Richland Hills for questions about your power steering.
The pump generates power that assists drivers as they steer their vehicle around North Richland Hills, TX. Power steering systems use hoses to move pressurized fluid back and forth. These hoses can develop leaks so it's a good idea to have Loefflers European Automobile inspect them at every oil change.
In addition to providing a boost, the fluid cleans, cools and lubricates the power steering system. Over time, the lubricants and detergents diminish so North Richland Hills drivers need to replace their old fluid with clean, fresh fluid periodically.
At Loefflers European Automobile, we use a detergent to clean the system, flush out the old fluid and replace it with new fluid.

Been a while since I had a good experience talking to a car mechanic. Josef took the time and explained everything my car needed and why. Will definitely go back to service my car!
I am very pleased with the customer service and the job that they did on my car; I will definitely be back.
Outstanding service! We've taken both our vehicles there and will be back.
I took in my 09 Jaguar XF with a recurring brake issue the previous owner had. I got a quick, fair assessment and fantastic service which determined that the likely cause was previous brake service by non-Jag certified shops that weren't aware of some specific service requirements. Clearly worth it to go with someone who knows the cars they are working on. Final tally was $400 less than originally estimated as well. So far, so good and if I need more work, I'll be heading back here without the slightest hesitation.
Dropped in mid morning without an appointment. Engine light was on. They kindly gave me a ride home. Called me a bit later after they had diagnosed the problem and told me what was needed and the cost to do it. I gave them the OK, and they had the car done at 5:00P! Perfect!
Thank you very much for your work, promitude and professionalism. Keep doing the good job you always do on our car.
I just wanted to say that I recently moved here and had my BMW 530 serviced at Loeffler's. They did an excellent job at a fair price. Thank you. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle here for service the next time.
